Salah satu peralatan rumah tangga yang memiliki intensitas pemakaian yang tinggi adalah jemuran pakaian. Benda ini diciptakan dengan bentuk dan bahan yang beranekaragam. Namun di kota padat penduduk seperti Jakarta tidak semua peralatan penjemur pakaian berfungsi sebagaimana mestinya, faktor keterbatasan ruang dan suhu rata-rata kota Jakarta yang tinggi menjadi masalah utama kenapa tidak semua penjemur pakaian bisa berfungsi maksimal. Dari beberapa permasalahan yang ada penulis ingin mengembangkan beberapa desain alterfantif alat penjemur pakaian yang ada di pasaran dengan memperbarui sistem, struktur ataupun estetika sehingga bisa berfungsi lebih baik.

PENDAHULUAN

INTEPRETASI JUDUL
Alat penjemur pakaian yang ingin dibuat ini berfungsi sebagaimana jemuran pada umumnya. Ada beberapa pengembangan dan hasil pengamatan alat penjemur pakaian ini, yakni dengan memperbaiki dan memperbaharui sistem, struktur ataupun estitika sehingga akan tetap efektif meski ruang penjemuran ada di dalam rumah maupun di luar rumah.
MASALAH DESAIN
1. Bagaimana menciptakan produk alat penjemur pakaian yang mampu membantu untuk menghemat ruang agar dapat digunakan sesuai dengan kebutuhannya? | 2. Seperti apa desain alat penjemur pakaian yang memungkinkan dapat dibongkar dan dipasang dalam waktu singkat? | 3. Bagaimana menciptakan alat penjemur pakaian yang mudah diangkut, dapat dipasang sesuai pilihan dan penggunaan serta menghadirkan tampilan dan nuansa modern di dalam maupun di luar ruangan?
TUJUAN DESAIN
Tujuan dari perancangan alternatif desain alat penjemur pakaian yang ada di pasaran ini adalah :  | 1. Terciptanya alat penjemur pakaian yang efektif digunakan untuk indor maupun outdor yang amampu menghemat ruang. | 2. Terciptanya alat penjemur pakaian dengan sistem, struktur dan estetika yang lebih baik. | 3. Terciptanya alat penjemur pakaian yang mudah dipindahkan dan dirapikan ketika tidak dipakai  namun tetap memiliki estetika yang menarik
MANFAAT DESAIN
Manfaat yang diharapkan setelah perancangan produk ini adalah : | 1. Menghasilkan suatu produk yang dapat berguna dalam melakukan aktivitas penjemuran pakaian serta memiliki inovasi baru. | 2. Memberikan alternatif perancangan desain untuk kebutuhan penjemuran pakaian dengan sistem, struktur dan estetika yang baik. | 3. Memberikan solusi perancangan alat penjemur pakaian dengan memanfaatkan space yang ada.

    konsep dan tema ini sengaja di ambil dengan pertimbangan bahwa penjemur adalah salah satu perabot rumahan yang sangat sering di gunakan baik di kalangan ekonomi bawah dan menengah yang ada di Jakarta, sehingga khalayak memiliki kedekatan dan familiar dengan konsep dan tema. namun begitu ada kendala yang cukup menyulitkan yakni keterbatasan literasi dan refrensi desain terutama yang sesuai dengan judul yang telah di ambil.

    Suka desain yang old version ka, meskipun sistemnya jemuran gaya lama (pakai tali) tapi dengan dibuat bentuk seperti itu jadi lebih menarik & gak makan tempat buat peletakannya. Tapi untuk bahan talinya itu bisa kuat menampung jemuran basah sampai berapa banyak atau berapa kg beban yang bisa ditampung?

    Apa setiap desain alternatif tersebut memiliki unsur bahan yang sama? Karena kalau dilihat dari tampaknya sangat menarik serta membantu menyelesaikan masalah ketika menjemur ditempat yang sempit dan kecil. Apalagi desainnya bermacam-macam jadi bisa menyesuaikan dengan tempat yang ada. Ide dan konsep keren.
