Jagung merupakan salah satu komponen makanan pelengkap yang sangat populer di kalangan masyarakat Indonesia. Jagung dapat di olah menjadi sayur, bahan kue, makanan ringan, dan makanan olahan kemasan. Mengingat banyaknya kegunaan bahan pangan ini, maka proses pengolahannya menjadi komponen yang penting dalam menghasilkan produk olahan jagung yang berkualitas. Alat Potong Jagung Dengan Fungsi 2 In 1 merupakan alat yang dapat digunakan sebagai fungsi untuk memotong jagung dan juga memipil bagian jagung.

INTEPRETASI JUDUL
- Alat Potong Jagung dengan fungsi 2 in 1 yang penulis maksud adalah alat potong jagung yang dapat berfungsi menjadi 2 bagian, yaitu untuk mempipil jagung dan juga memotong jagung . - Alat perlengkapan dapur yang dimaksudkan adalah produk-produk sederhana yang dapat ditemukan di dapur masak.
MASALAH DESAIN
1. Bagaimana merancang alat pemotong jagung 2 in 1 ? 2. Bagaimana sistem alat pemotong jagung 2 in 1 ?
TUJUAN DESAIN
1. Terciptanya alat yang praktis untuk memipil dan memotong jagung hanya dengan menggunakan satu alat tanpa perlu mengganti alat yang berbeda-beda. 2. Terciptanya sistem yang sederhana untuk memipil dan memotong jagung yang nyaman ketika digunakan.
MANFAAT DESAIN
1. Manfaat kepada pengguna adalah memperoleh kepraktisan alat pengolahan jagung yakni dapat memipil dan memotong jagung hanya dengan satu alat, tanpa perlu menggonta–ganti alat potong. 2. Manfaat kepada khalayak luas adalah terciptanya produk yang dapat menghemat penggunaan listrik pada alat elektronik.

    Untuk sistem pemotongnya kenapa menggunakan sistem menjepit, karna dengan sistem tersebut sebetulnya mewakili kebiasaan seseorang ketika memotong, dengan gaya seperti itu dan pisau yang cukup tajam sehingga saya bermaksud ingin memudahkan kebiasaan pengguna ketika memotong jagung , dengan sistem tersebut yang berdasarakan mekanikal gaya sederhana tetapi tidak perlu menggunakan tenaga yang lebih ketika memotongnya .     Untuk target yang ditujukan dalam produk ini ialah ibu-ibu rumah tangga dan UMKM tentang bisnis jagung.
    Jika menurut ibu demikian, tapi menurut survey saya terhadap ibu rumah tangga ialah mereka kesulitan ketika memotong jagung, karna bagian bonggol jagung cukup keras terkadang mereka harus menggunakan alat bantu misalnya cobek untuk memukul bagian atas pisau, bahkan adalagi yang menggunakan tangan dengan cara memukul bagian atas pisau untuk memotongnya . Dari permasalahan tersebut yang saya jadikan ide untuk membuat produk ini, tentunya tidak membuat luka pada tangan dan tidak merusak bagian pisau-pisau dapur nantinya .

    Selamat malam Pak Hady, Izin menjawab beberapa pertanyaannya.
    Pada bagian anatomi jagung yang akan di potong terdiri dari beberapa bagian lapisan dalam jagung yaitu terdiri dari Ghume ( bagian biji-biji jagung yang terdapat diluar yang dapat dikonsumsi), Woody Ring ( bagian ini yang ialah bagian yang paling keras dari struktur jagung itu sendiri) bagian yang biasanya kita potong menggunakan sedikit tenaga, dan ada bagian Pith ( bagian ini adalah bagian lunak pada struktur yang ada pada jagung). Untuk ukurannya sendiri karna yang saya riset jagung ukuran paling besar jadi saya membuat diameter alas jagung yang disesuaikan dengan riset ukuran diameter jagung tersebut, untuk mata pisau sendiri mengikuti ukuran jagung yang saya riset di pasaran yang sering digunakan untuk kebutuhan ibu rumah tangga.
    Untuk data dan analisis saya refrensikan dari pemakaian mekanikal sederhana yang saya contohkan dari alat gunting kuku dan tang potong, untuk pembahasannya akan saya lengkapi lagi dibagian laporan perancangan . Untuk kekurangan datanya akan saya perbaiki segera .
    Untuk video memang saya kurang menampilkan cara pemakaian alat tersebut, selanjutnya akan saya perbaiki videonya dan dapat dibuktikan jika alat ini dapat berfungsi sesuai dengan fungsi 2 in 1 (Pemotong dan Pemipil. Terimakasih untuk masukannya pak Hady .

    Selamat sore,
    1. Jelaskan Data, Analisis dan Desain tentang anatomi Jagung (bagian jagung yang akan dipotong) dan hubungannya dengan bentuk dan ukuran produk yang di desain.
    2. Buat Data, Analisis dan Desain yang membuktikan bahwa penggunaan produk ini lebih mudah dari pada penggunaan pisau. Bisa menggunakan teori sistem mekanika sederhana – tuas/pengungkit.
    3. Tampilkan video saat jagung saat di potong dan di pipil dengan jelas dari situ akan dapat dibuktikan juga bahwa produk ini memang memudahkan dalam pengolahan jagung. Soalnya dalam video kamu di cut/diumpetin dan diganti denganvisual yang sebenarnya tidak dibutuhkan.

    Selamat malam bu vania, Terimakasih sudah berkunjung di halaman tugas akhir saya .
    Untuk latar belakang dari produk saya ini permasalahan yang timbul yaitu karena seseorang harus mengganti alat yang berbeda-beda ketika melakukan proses pengolahan jagung seperti memipil atau memotong jagung. Untuk itu, diperlukan sebuah alat yang dapat memberikan kepraktisan dalam hal proses pengolahan jagung ini.
    Untuk kebutuhan target user yang dituju yaitu ibu-ibu rumah tangga dan juga pelaku usaha UMKM, dimana biasanya kebutuhan jagung sering di pakai untuk menjadi masakan olahan dikalangana ibu rumah tangga dan juga pelaku usaha UMKM misalnya kebutuhan usaha JASUKE ( Jagung susu keju ) diharapkan produk rancangan ini dapat membantu kedua target tersebut sebagai alat yang lebih praktis ketika digunakan.

    1. Latar belakang yang menjelaskan pentingnya desain ini ada belum dijelaskan sehingga tidak ditemukan urgensi desain.
    2. Data dan analisa kebutuhan target user berkaitan dengan desain produk yang dirancang juga belum dibahas.
    3. Proses berpikir menemukan desain juga belum dijelaskan.

    Selamat Malam Pak Rizky,
    Terkait dengan pisau dapur biasa untuk kebutuhan memotong dan memipil, saya sudah meriset beberapa ibu rumah tangga terkait kebutuhan memotong dan memipil jagung, walaupun bisa menggunakan pisau ketika memotong tetapi jagung yang cukup keras di bagian bonggol tersebut harus dibantu menggunakan tangan untuk memukul bagian atas mata pisau sehingga tangan ibu-ibu tersebut menjadi sakit/luka. Untuk mempil menggunakan pisau beberapa kali dicoba potongan jagung tidak rapih dan tidak sesuai banyak bagian yang terbuang bahkan hancur ketika menggunakan pisau. Dari permasalahan-permasalahan tersebut perancang selesaikan dengan produk pemotong jagung ini dengan fungsi 2 in 1 , agar lebih praktis dan mudah dimengerti cara penggunaannya . Terimakasih

    Selamat Malam Mba Musdah, 1. Untuk analisis bentuk mata pisau sudah dilakukan semaksimal perancang, masukannya akan ditampung dan dilengkapi pada laporan perancangan. 2. Video tersebut tidak dibuat untuk menghindari plagiasi dari kompetitor sehingga hanya akan dicantumkan pada lampiran laporan. 3. Mengingat bahan yang diangkat berupa material stainless, maka dari segi estetik perancangan membuat bentuk sesederhana mungkin untuk menghindari kebingungan ibu-ibu saat menggunakan alat ini.     Selamat malam mas adit, Terkait dengan cara penggunaan memotongnya , mata pisau pemotongnya berukuran tebal 3mm dan di buat cukup tajam dibagian bawah sehingga mata pisau yang kuat ini dapat dengan mudah ketika pengguna memotong bagian bonggol jagung tersebut . Terimakasih

    Sangat terlihat perancangnya dianalisa dengan baik dari segi pemecahan masalahnya.
    Hanya saja saran agar lebih maksimal bisa diperdalam :
    1. Analisa bentuk mata pisau
    2. Video cara pemakaian, pembersihan, dan diletakkan dimana setelah digunakan
    3. Aspek estetik mengingat usernya umumnya ibu2.

    Idenya bagus, kayanya bisa sangat membantu untuk ibu rumah tangga dengan 2 fungsi sekaligus yang ada di satu produk. Desain nya juga menarik. Tapi yang jadi pertanyaan, untuk memotong nya apa perlu tenaga yang cukup kuat?
